Kingdom War Practice!

 

War is on the horizon, come join us in defending the King’s Coast from invaders from the East!

Scenarios for both Chivalric and Rapier fighters will be fought on the field,

in the ravine, and even possibly a bridge battle!

Bring your army and hone your skills for Gulf Wars!

Site is Siege Engine and Combat Archery Friendly!!!

 

On Saturday King Aaron III will choose his King's Lancer!

Join us as we also choose our Equestrian and Archery Defenders


We are in search of a siege marshal.

Gate Information

 

Adult site $15.00 (Feast included)

Kids 6-17 site $8.00

Children five years old and under are free!

Non-Membership charge will be $3.00.

Make checks payable to: SCA Inc. / Shire of Seawinds

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21 year old

or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents.

Pets allowed with current vaccinations. Horses must have proof of a negative Coggins.

Above ground fires are permitted.

Site is wet in period container.

The site opens Fri. at 3 pm closes Sun. at 3 pm.

There will be a hospitality table Friday night with a hearty goulash.

2 pm A&S Class - Pysanky (Egg Dyeing)
    by Lady Joanna the Spinner
5 pm Evening Court (at his Majesty's discretion)

Pysanky

Pysanky is an ancient and beautiful form of folk art from the Ukraine. It consists of decoration of eggs
using beeswax and dyes. This art is most popular in a Ukrainian household near Eastertime when eggs
are created as gifts for family and friends.
